The Maya Environmental Education and Research Center was formed in 2006.

The MEER center has provided several environmental education workshops for school children and their parents.

​

At least once a year, a group of students from other country visit the center to share this educational experience, and learn more on biodiversity, and climate change.

All our programs and activities are aligned with the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.
